The Soldier Kneels
“Rest After the Fire”
Lord Jesus, You have seen every battlefield. You have walked through every storm. You know the weight of armor and the ache of memory. You do not turn away from the wounded — You draw near.
Today, I kneel before You. Not as a soldier, but as a soul in need. The war is over, but the echoes remain. The silence is loud, and the scars still speak.
Hold me in Your mercy. Heal what cannot be seen. Restore what was lost in the fire. Speak peace into the places I cannot reach.
Let Your cross be my refuge. Let Your love be my strength. Let Your presence be the home I never knew I needed.
Amen.
STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING
